A 40mm collar in first-grade vegetable-tanned leather with an unlined raw finish. The single D-ring sits at the front for attachment points, and the buckle fastening at the back adjusts to fit. This leather's been aniline-dyed, which means it keeps the hide's natural surface intact - you'll see the grain, the occasional mark, the character of the material.

Vegetable tanning is one of the oldest methods of making leather, using natural tannins from bark and plants rather than chemicals. It's a lengthy process, but the result is leather that ages properly. It'll develop a patina over time, getting better with use rather than wearing out.
