The leather's aniline-dyed, which means it keeps its natural grain and character. You might see the odd mark or variation in the surface - that's the full-grain showing through, and it'll age beautifully over time. Vegetable tanning is a slower, more traditional process that produces leather that's widely recognised as the most desirable for quality pieces.

This is raw, unlined leather, so it sits differently than a padded collar. It's got presence and won't soften the look.
