Slave Lead-Unlined Raw (M2O)

A 90cm leather lead made from vegetable-tanned, full-grain cow shoulder. The leather's dyed through on both sides with a slightly waxy feel, and the unlined construction keeps it flexible. You'll see natural marks and grain variations - that's the top grain surface doing its thing, not a flaw.

Vegetable tanning is the slow, traditional method that uses natural plant tannins instead of chemicals. It's why this leather will develop character as it ages rather than just wearing out. The aniline dyeing process colours the leather without sealing the surface, so the hide's natural texture stays visible.
